Abstract
Background and objective:
The use of silver nanoparticles is one of the functional areas of nanotechnology. These nanoparticles have an antibacterial and antifungal quality. The active ions released form silver nanoparticles can produce free radicals and damage different types of cell. Considering the importance of hemoglobin, this study investigates Comparison of injective and contact effect of silver nanoparticles on the rate of hemoglobin changes in male rats.
Materials and Methods:
In this experimental study were 72 male adult Wistar rats with a mean weight of 225 to 250 grams. The animals were randomly divided into ten groups of eight rats. Nanoparticles were administered to treatment groups using the injective method through intraperitoneal (IP) and the skin contact method with concentrations of 50, 100, 200, and 400 ppm. In order to assimilate the shock resulted by injection and contact, physiologic serum of the same amount was injected to rats of control group or contacted to their skin. Then, blood was drawn from the internal corner of the rats’ eye using capillary tubes. The mean level of hemoglobin in the rats’ blood in the treatment and control group was compared 12 days after the treatment. To compare the means, ANOVA test was used.
Results:
The results showed the dependence of dose and the rate of hemoglobin changes in intraperitoneal injection and the lack of effect of silver nanoparticles on hemoglobin changes in skin contact.
Conclusion:
The effectof the injection of silver nanoparticles on the rate of hemoglobin has been dose-dependent. But the skin contact method has had no effects on the rate of hemoglobin. It seems that a low concentration of nanoparticles and a short period of time cause a lack of effect on the factor.

Abstract
Background & objective: But its etiology is unknown. Based on deficiency of epidemiological studies, this study Family and genetic factors are effective on incidence of external hydrocephalus aimed to determine the demographic features of children with external hydrocephalus.
Methods: Referred to Taleghani tertiary hospital during 2009-2011 were assessed. Inclusion criteria In this retrospective descriptive study (2011), all records of children with external hydrocephalus was definite diagnosis of external hydrocephalus. Checklist was used for data collection. All data were entered to SPSS software (version 16) and were described by descriptive statistics.
Results: (48.8%), 32 cases born by cesarean section (78%), 31 cases (75.6%) with no consanguineous marriage of parents, 38 cases (92.7%) born at term gestational age, 24 cases (58.53%) with macrocephaly in family, 17 cases (41.5%) with hospitalization history, 39 cases (95.1) with normal birth weight were assessed. Mean of age and head circumference were 8.8±2.8 years and 35.15±1.5 cm, respectively. Increase of head circumference with 30.2 % was the most common complaint at referred time during health cares. 33 cases (80.5%) diagnosed based on CT scan and 11 cases (26.8%) had development delay. From 41 children included to the study, 33 boys (80.5%), 20 cases with Fars ethnicity
Conclusion: Of head circumference during health cares had the most frequency of external hydrocephalus. Much more attention to these children and early diagnosis and treatment is essential. Boys children with fars ethnicity, macrocephaly history, developmental delay and increase.

Abstract
Background & Objective: Health promotion is defined as the process of enabling people to increase control over their behavior and health improvement. Among all these, health promoting behaviors are one of the best ways by which people can maintain and control their health. Due to the importance of young adults› health in promoting health in the community, This study aimed to determine and compare the health promoting behaviors in the first and fourth year students of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical and non-Medical Sciences in the academic year 92-93.
Method: This cross-sectional study was carried on 500 students from the two Shahid Beheshti Universities by multistage sampling. Data were collected by the 52-item questionnaire of Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 18, independent t-test, Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis and ANOVA analysis.
Results: The results showed that from the total score of 208, the average and standard deviation of health promoting behaviors was 128.74 ± 20.16 in students of medical sciences and 128.96 ± 20.52 in non-medical students. Among all the aspects of health promoting behaviors on the two tested groups, self-actualization and physical activity had the highest and lowest scores respectively.
Conclusion: In this study, there was no statistically significant difference between the average score of health promoting behaviors among medical and non-medical students.

Abstract
Background & Objective: Job burnout is one of the inevitable consequences of occupational stress. Professional staff of social services are the first candidates of burnout, therefore this study was aimed to determine the relationship between occupational stresses with job burnout in pre-hospital emergency staff.
Method: In this cross-sectional study, 206 employees, working in 44 pre-hospital emergency bases in Golestan province were enrolled in years 2011-12. Information was obtained by occupational stress questionnaire and Maslach Burnout and then using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient test, ANOVA, T-Test and Tukey tests the data were analyzed in SPSS software.
Results: 117 individuals (75.5 percent) had moderate to high stress. Organizational factors (21.62 ± 6.05) with a mean score from 100 (65.51) had the highest score in causing stress and physical factors (10.44 ± 3.43), occupational (37.12 ± 1.12) and group factors (10.54 ± 1.12) were second and third respectively. Among all the subjects, 76.6% had experienced moderate to high burnout. There was a significant statistical difference between job stress and age (P=0.02) , type of employment (P=0.048) and between burnout and education (P=0.028) in the overall level of job stress and burnout significant correlation was observed (r=0.335, P<0.001).
Conclusion: Emergency staffs work in a stressful environment, which leads to burnout, thus identifying stressors and ways to overcome these factors, especially in the corporate (management) dimension can help reduce burnout.

Abstract
Background & Objctives: With regard to unclear government approach in the insurance sector, multiplicity of rules, high share of households, improper population coverage and lack of cost-effective interventions, this study aimed to analyze the current status of basic health insurance in Iran and its distance from the desirable status according to upstream documents. In addition, we attempted to propose a strategy in this regard.
Methods: This qualitative research was performed in 2017 in four stages of analysis of the current status of upstream documents and laws, round-table discussions of policy-makers, and presenting political options. In total, 20 subjects were selected by targeted sampling method with maximum diversity and based on the saturation rule. Data were collected by document analysis and interviews with authorities. Moreover, data were analyzed applying content analysis and the deductive approach.
Results: The results were classified into five areas of population coverage, financial resources management, financial protection of insured individuals, strategic purchasing, policy-making, and structure. There was a significant distance between the desirable status based on upstream documents and laws and the current status. Recommendations: eliminating conflicts of interest in decision-making areas, complying with the public interest in making health decisions, observing the principles of the evaluation of regulatory effects, and assessing the economic and social effects of health decisions.
Conclusion: Despite the successful global experiences, the recommendations of the World Health Organization, and the existence of several optimal structures, proper models must be considered by the health system of the country through observing the relevant mechanisms and necessities.

Abstract
Background and objectives: An effective factor in choosing the correct place for the dental implant and performing surgical procedures in the posterior regions of mandible is the position of the mandibular canal. Failure to consider this important landmark will damage the inferior alveolar nerve. Considering the widespread use of implants and the precision of the images obtained from CBCT. The aim of this study was to evaluate the rate of visibility of mandibular canal by CBCT in order to prevent damage to the inferior alveolar nerves and arteries.
Material And Methods: In this study, 90 archived CBCT images of patients from a private center of oral and maxillofacial radiology in Yazd that was taken by technician was evaluated during 2012-2019. The visibility of the mandibular canal in reconstructed panoramic images of CBCT was assessed by a dentistry student trained by the maxillofacial radiologist in five areas in different thicknesses on each side. Data were analyzed using SPSS 17 software. Chi-square, and correlation coefficient were done.
Results: In total, in 53.38% of CBCT images both borders of mandibular canal were visible, in 17.95%, only one border was visible (difficult observation) and in 28.7% of cases, lack of visibility of mandibular canal was reported. There was no significant difference between sex, age, side and thickness in mandibular canal visibility (P >0.05).
Conclusion: In more than half of CBCT images, both borders were clearly visible in both right and left sides; therefore we can conclude that CBCT is a useful tool for the observation of mandibular canal before surgeries.

Abstract
Background and objectives: The retromolar canal is an anatomical variant that needs consideration in local anesthesia and surgical procedures involving the retromolar area. Complications such as local anesthetic insufficiency, a sensory deficit, hemorrhage and traumatic neuroma may arise in the absence of recognition of these variants. The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence and course of retromolar canal in the Iranian population.
Methods: This study is a descriptive cross sectional study. The cross sectional sagittal and three dimensional images from volumetric CBCT. data of 270 patients were reconstructed using on demand imaging analysis software. Retromolar canals were classified into two types according to the courses. The width and location (distance from the third molar) of retromolar canals were evaluated. Results were analyzed with SPSS 20 software and were assessed using the t_test and chi_square test.
Results: Retromolar canal was observed in 9/25 % of patients. The mean width of the retromolar foramen was 1/43 mm, and the mean distance from anterior border of retromolar foramen to the distal CEJ of the second molar was 13/33 mm.
Conclusion: The prevalence of retromolar canals in the Iranian population was lower than that was reported in previous studies. It can be observed in 9/25 % of Iranian patients. Damage to the retromolar canal may be unavoidable during surgical procedures may result in paresthesia, excessive bleeding, postoperative hematoma, or traumatic neuroma. Therefore, the clinician must pay particular attention to the identification of a retromolar canal by preoperative radiographic examination and additional CBCT scanning is recommended.

Abstract
Background and objectives: The fatty liver is a reversible form of fat accumulation in the liver cells. The burden of this disease is increasing worldwide. In general, due to the lack of proper treatment and the multiple side effects of existing chemical medicines, researchers have focused on the use of herbal medicines. The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effects of aqueous extract of Arctium lappa L. (burdock) and Cichorium intybus L. (chicory) on fatty liver in rats fed with high fat diet as respects these plants have been frequently applied in traditional medicine for treatment of the liver-related diseases.
Material and Methods: For this study, 30 Wistar rats weighing 120-220 g were used. The rats were divided into 5 groups and received 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mL/kg of mixture of aqueous extracts of burdock and chicory.
Results: Results showed that this aqueous extract reduced the liver macro-vesicles and microvesicles and symptoms of steatosis without any specific liver complications. It was found that 500 and 1000 mL/kg of extract had the most effective therapeutic effect.
Conclusion: In conclusion, our study shows that extract of burdock-chicory has the potential to ameliorate fatty liver in rats fed with high-fat diet. This study provides evidence that burdock-chicory extract could be considered as a potential dietary supplement strategy for prevention and treatment of fatty liver. Based on these results, the extract was formulated, and entered the pharmaceutical market.

Abstract
Background: Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is one of the prevalent metabolic diseases, and knowing its treatment methods is very important. This study investigates the effect of eight weeks of combined high-intensity interval training on intrahepatic FNDC5 protein and irisin in male rats with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
Methods: In this study, 40 rats aged 6 to 8 weeks were divided into two groups: healthy (n=20) and high-fat diet (HFD) (n=20). After eight weeks and assurance of disease induction, the HFD group was randomly divided into control-patient (n=9) and training-patient (n=9). Also, the healthy group was divided into control-healthy (n=9) and training-healthy (n=9). The training group rats performed HIIT in aquatic and land environments (Saturdays and Wednesdays in aquatic environments and Mondays on a treadmill). Western blot method was used to measure FNDC5 and irisin proteins, and the spectrophotometric method was used to measure liver enzymes (ALT and AST). One-way ANOVA and Bonferroni's post hoc test (P<0.05) were used to determine the difference between groups.
Results: After eight weeks of combined high-intensity interval training, there was no significant difference in intrahepatic FNDC5 protein levels between the groups (P=0.125). Intrahepatic irisin protein levels significantly increased in the training-healthy group compared to the control-healthy group (P=0.046). Additionally, there was a significant increase in the training-patient group compared to the control-patient group (P=0.036) and a significant increase in the training-healthy group compared to the control-patient group (P=0.011).
Conclusion: In general, combined high-intensity interval training (aquatic + land) can increase intrahepatic irisin. Thus, this type of training can be considered one of the potential non-pharmacological options for treating NAS. However, more research is needed to reach definitive results.

Abstract
Background: Circuit resistance training, beneficial to overweight individuals, combines aerobic and resistance exercises. This study aimed to investigate the effect of multi-joint circuit resistance training on serum adiponectin levels and lipid profiles in overweight women.
Methods: Thirty sedentary overweight women (mean age of 34.48±4.304 years, mean weight of 81.17±9.137 kg, and mean BMI of 30.17±2.13 kg/m2) were randomly divided into two groups: circuit resistance training (n=15) and a control group (n=15). The experimental group trained at 65–85% of maximum heart rate for eight weeks, with three sessions per week (24 sessions total). The control group did not engage in regular exercise. Serum adiponectin levels and lipid profiles were assessed before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and dependent t-tests at a significance level of P-value≤0.05.
Results: The results showed that adiponectin levels (P-value=0.001) and cholesterol levels (P-value=0.015) increased in the circuit training group, while LDL levels decreased (P-value=0.031). HDL levels increased but were not statistically significant (P-value=0.100). These variables did not change in the control group.
Conclusion: Finding ways to improve the state of adipokines is of vital importance for these patients. According to the results, circuit resistance training may be an effective method for addressing dyslipidemia and increasing adiponectin levels in overweight women.
